Tour Package Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Haridwar

Our representative will meet at Haridwar. After completing all the formalities the bike you choose in your package will be handed over to you. Later, check in the hotel and relax. Witness the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Haridwar – Barkot/Sayanachatti

Distance/Time : 210 kms/07 hrs

From Haridwar, move to Barkot via Mussoorie.  Enroute visit the scenic Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Fall. Later move to Barkot. Arrive at the hotel in Barkot and relax. Enjoy overnight stay in Barkot.
Barkot Weather – Summers are pleasant in Barkot. Temperature ranges from 25°C – 30°C. In winter nights are cold as temperature ranges from 10°C – 5°C.

Day 3 : Barkot/Syanachatti – Jankichatti – Yamunotri – Jankichatti – Barkot/Syanachatti

Distance/Time : 38 kms/2 hrs drive & 5kms/3 hrs on foot

Get up early and have breakfast. Leave for Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, from here 6 km trek to Yamunotri Dham starts. Take a holy dip Jamnabai Kund’s and offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna at Yamunotri Temple. After darshan, return to Jankichatti by trek. Later transfer to Barkot. Spend the night in Barkot.

Yamunotri Weather – In summer temperature ranges from 6°C to 20°C. The ideal time to visit Yamunotri Dham is from April to June and September to November. During winters, climate gets harsh with heavy snowfall and roads get blocked.

Day 4 : Barkot – Uttarkashi – /Gangnani

Distance/Time : 140kms/7hrs

After breakfast, ride to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Uttarkashi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi. Return and enjoy the overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Vishwanath Temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the prominent temples of Uttarkashi that is placed on the banks of river Bhagirathi. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been built by Sage Parshuram. It was later renovated by Maharani Khaneti, wife of Sudarshan Shan in 1857.

Day 5 : Uttarkashi/Gangnani – Gangotri – Harsil – Gangnani/Uttarkashi

Distance/Time : 120 kms/05 hrs round trip

In morning after breakfast move to Gangotri. Take holy dip in thermal water spring of Rishikund. Further, proceed to Gangotri via Harsil Valley. Allure the breathtaking views of high peaks and dense forests in Harsil. Reach Gangotri and offer prayers to Goddess Ganga. Later after darshan move back to Uttarkashi. Check in hotel. Night halt.

Gangotri Weather – In Gangotri summer season starts in April and ends in the month of May. The maximum temperature reaches around 25°C. April to June and September to November is the best time to travel the holy city of Gangotri.

Day 6 : Uttarkashi – Sitapur

Distance : 250kms/8 – 9 hrs

After early morning breakfast move to Sitapur. Dinner and overnight stay in Sitapur.

Day 7 : Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath – Sitapur

Distance/Time : 10 Kms/1.30 hrs & 16 kms/4 hrs

After early morning breakfast proceed by vehicle for Gaurikund. Arrive Gaurikind and start 16 km trek to Kedarnath. Offer pujas at Kedarnath temple. After darshan return back to hotel and relax. Overnight stay in hotel.

Kedarnath – Kedarnath, hidden in the lap of Himalayas is one of the paramount holy sites in India. Pilgrims from all across the globe embark the journey to Kedarnath Dham to find solace and spiritual peace. Kedarnath Mandir is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is also one of the 275 temples of Paadal Petra Sthalams (the most powerful Shiva temples in the world), expounded in Tevaram.

Day 8 : Sitapur – Pipalkoti

Distance/Time : 145 kms/5 hrs

After breakfast move to Pipalkoti. Relax at Pipalkoti and enjoy the enchanting views of snow clad peaks and green hills that surround this place. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 : Pipalkoti – Badrinath – Pipalkoti

Distance/Time – 100kms/2.30 hrs

Early morning after breakfast leave for Badrinath via Joshimath, Shankracharya, Narasimha temple. Arrive Badrinath and have darshan of Badrinarayan. After darshan ride back to pipalkoti. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Take a holy bath in the hot water of Taptkund. There are many tourist destinations in Badrinath which you can visit like Mana Village, Charanpaduka, Vyas Gufa, Bhimkund, Maatamoorti and Bhim Pul. Later move in to hotel and overnight stay at Pipalkoti.

  • Tapt Kund – Tapt Kund is a natural thermal spring that is placed on the bank of Alaknanda River. Devotees before entering the Badrinath temple take bath in the holy water of kund.
  • Mana Village – Mana is a scenic hamlet that is inhabited with Indo – Mangolian tribe. It is the last village at China border of Indian region.
  • Vasudhara – Vasudhara is a mystical waterfall that is located in Mana village. The waterfall drops from a height of 400 feet around 122 meters above sea level.
  • Sheshnetra – Just few km away from the Badrinath, on the opposite bank of Alaknanda is placed the huge boulder which gives the impression of Shesh Nag.
  • Vyas Gufa – Vyas Gufa is an antique rock cave that is located in the Mana village on the banks of holy Saraswati River.
  • Bhim Pul – Bheem Pul is a natural rock forming a natural bridge over Saraswati River and is located in Mana Village. It is at a distance of 3 km from Badrinath.

Day 10 : Pipalkoti – Haridwar

After breakfast drive to Haridwar via Vishnuprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Rudraprayag & Devprayag, Rishikesh. Overnight stay at Haridwar. After you come back, you will have to return the bike to us.
Enroute visit:

  • Vishnuprayag – Vishnuprayag lies at the confluence of Alaknanda & Dhauliganga River. It is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River.
  • Karanprayag – Karanprayag is bedecked on the confluence of river Alaknanda and the Pindari River. It is one of the five confluences of Alaknanda River.
  • Rishikesh – Visit Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla and various Rishikesh temples & ashrams.

Worst ever itinerary. The following changes will make the itinerary more attractive.
1.     No need to halt at Gangnani which is 127 km from Barkot. Go to Gangotri 185 km.
2.     Halt at Pipalkoti not required. Instead go straightway to Badrinath via chopta, distance 210 km.
3.     Go for 2 nights stay at Badrinath.
4.     On day 10 ride Directly to Rishikesh from Badrinath.
5.     On day 11 Departure.
