Badrianth temple gates get open in the month of April-May every year. It mainly gets open in the last week of April or first week of May. The opening date of Badrinath is decided on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami.

Normally, the temple gets closed around October-November in winters. The closing dates are fixed on Vijayadashmi.
