Joshimath

Situated 45 km from Badrinath, Joshimath is the first math established by Shri Adi Sankara. In winters Joshimath works as the abode of Lord Vishnu.

Auli

Auli is the perfect skiing and paragliding spot in Uttarakhand. This place is famous as it connects with Joshimath (16 km through Badrinath route) through Asia’s longest cable. One can witness the splendid view of Himalayan peaks like the Nanda Devi, Mana Parvat & Dunagiri and Kamet from Auli.

Valley of Flowers

Covering an area of 87.50 sq kms, Valley of flowers is an irresistible stop for nature lovers and botanists. It is located 16 km from Govindghat. One can enjoy the colorful view of valley filled with blooming flowers from June to October. During winters November to May this place remain covered with snow.

Govindghat

Govindghat is a dreamy hamlet in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand. Being the starting of the trek to the Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers makes it a pristine destination for pilgrims and nature lovers.

Hemkund Sahib and Lokpal Temple

Hemkund Sahib is a star shaped Gurudwara devoted to Guru Govind Singhji. The Gurudwara is located at an altitude of 4320 meters above sea level. There is also located the Lokpal Temple which is dedicated to Lord Ram’s brother Lakshman.

Pandukeshwar

The holy place Pandukeshwar is located 24 km from Badrinath. It is believed that the place was established by the father of Pandavas, King Pandu. Two iconic ancient temples dedicated to Lord Yoga Badri Narayan and Lord Vasudev are found at Padukeshwar.

Adi Badri

Adi Badri is a part of Panch Badri of Uttarakhand. The main temple of this place is devoted to Lord Narayan. A black stone of Vishnu is also preserved at Adi Badri.
